Da Silva: America interferes in our internal affairs
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Reuters, the president of Brazil says that America interferes in the internal affairs of other countries.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva on Saturday criticized the US Department of Justice’s monitoring of the deal between the Swedish company Saab and Brazil. The US Department of Justice previously requested the Swedish defense company to disclose the details of the purchase of Gripen fighter jets from Brazil in 2014.
The president of Brazil said in response to such an action: I think this is America’s interference in the affairs of another country.
Dasilva recalled that the action of Brazil to buy fighters from this Swedish company was not liked by Americans, they wanted Brazil to buy American fighters.
A 5.4 billion dollar contract was signed between the Brazilian government and the Swedish Saab company during the previous Brazilian government. The president of Brazil has said that the American government is angry with the independent election of this Latin American nation.
