Accordingly, today, the price of gold per ounce increased by 0.61% to $2,645 and 79 cents. The price of gold futures in the Comex market of New York increased by 0.89% to $2,662 and 80 cents.
Among other precious metals, silver rose 0.88 percent to $31.52, and platinum traded up 0.67 percent to $978.66.
