Budapest: We do not know about the plot to assassinate Orban

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Volin previously said that Belgrad had received information indicating that Orban was targeted for assassination because of his stance on the war in Ukraine.
Siarto said about this: I am not aware of such an action, but what I know is that we, as well as the Prime Minister, are the targets of repeated attacks both legally, financially and politically. The prime minister, the government and the country are in the crosshairs.
According to the senior Hungarian diplomat, Brussels has blocked Budapest’s demand for billions of euros because of its positions on Ukraine, migration issues and gender slogans.
Earlier, Orban said that Brussels is “not Hungary’s boss” and the country continues to defend its position when discussing Europe-wide decisions.
Orban has emphasized that Hungary is not like other countries that agree to Brussels’ requests. As a result, Hungary will not provide arms and money to Ukraine, will not allow immigrants to enter, and in addition, there is no place for propaganda of gender minorities in the country’s schools.
In mid-September 2022, the European Commission proposed the launch of a special mechanism for Hungary to ensure the protection of the EU budget against “violation of the principles of the rule of law in Budapest”. This means blocking about 7.5 billion euros from the European Union’s allocated budget for Budapest.
