This news was published two days after the escalation of tensions between North and South Korea. North Korea also announced last year that its citizens have voluntarily registered for war against America.
Pyongyang yesterday blew up parts of the border roads and railways with South Korea located in North Korean territory. South Korea fired a warning shot in response to this action.
North Korea has accused its southern neighbor of sending a drone into Pyongyang’s airspace, and in addition, the two countries are also in dispute over the issue of balloons containing garbage. Pyongyang has emphasized that these balloons are a reaction to actions similar to those of South Korea.
North Korea’s Central News Agency, following the news of the enlistment of troops in the country’s army, wrote: If there is a war, South Korea will disappear from the map. Since they want war, we will gladly end their existence.
