A fine of 41 thousand dollars for Telegram
A court in Moscow sentenced Telegram to pay a fine of $41,000 due to Telegram's refusal to remove prohibited content.
According to mehr reporter to Quoting from Tass, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow in Russia sentenced the Telegram messenger to pay a fine of 4 million rubles equal to $41,000 for refusing to remove prohibited content.
According to the court’s ruling, according to paragraph two of Article 13.41 of the Law of State Crimes of the Russian Federation, which includes the failure to remove inappropriate content from the Internet, Telegram has been declared guilty and entitled to pay a fine.
A few weeks ago, Telegram was condemned by another court in Russia for the same reason.
