Deadly explosion of fuel tanker in Nigeria / At least 90 people died
A fuel tanker explosion in northwest Nigeria killed and injured at least 140 people.
reported by Lawan Adamu, the spokesman of the Nigerian police, said that the tanker exploded along the Kano-Hadijia highway.
According to him, the explosion of the tanker subsequently led to a massive fire and the fire brigade had difficulty controlling it.
Nigeria experienced a similar incident last month when a fuel tanker collided head-on with a truck, killing at least 48.
