According to Mehr News Agency, A few hours ago, some news outlets published contradictory news about the confirmation of the martyrdom of Yahya Sanwar, the political and military leader of Hamas, on behalf of this group, citing the interview of “Basem Naeem” from senior Hamas officials.
Some like Al Jazeera network, citing Bassem Naeem’s interview with “Agence France-Presse”, say that Bassem Naeem did not confirm the martyrdom of Sanwar.
However, the website of the “CNN” network claims that this senior Hamas official mentioned Sanwar’s martyrdom in the first statement, but Sanwar’s name was deleted in the second statement.
Al Jazeera: Senior Hamas official did not confirm the death of Sanwar
Al Jazeera network wrote in a report that ” A senior Hamas official says that the Palestinian group cannot be destroyed by killing its leaders, but refused to confirm the death of its leader, Yahya Sinwar.
According to Al Jazeera, “Basem Naeem”, one of the senior members of the Hamas political office, said in an interview with the AFP: “Hamas is a liberation movement led by people who seek freedom and dignity, and this cannot be removed.”
