North Korea rejected Guterres’ call for restraint

North Korea has rejected the UN secretary-general's call for restraint after Pyongyang blew up roads leading to South Korea.

He also demanded to condemn the violation of Pyongyang’s airspace by the South Korean army.

North Korea’s top diplomat emphasized in a statement published by the country’s Central News Agency (KCNA) that Pyongyang will not accept Guterres’ request at all.

He also criticized Guterres for “acting as a spokesperson for America”. Kim Sonkyung emphasized that the destruction or construction of roads and railways inside the territory of North Korea is considered as one of Pyongyang’s sovereign rights.

He also accused Guterres of “adopting double and intolerable policies” by referring to Seoul’s recent provocative action and the violation of Pyongyang’s airspace with a drone and the silence of the United Nations regarding this violation. did.
