The oral message of the King of Jordan was presented to Bashar Assad

During this meeting, bilateral relations and ways to develop them and the case of Syrian refugees were discussed.

Current and dangerous developments in the region were also discussed.

Ayman al-Safadi presented a verbal message from King Abdullah II of Jordan to Bashar al-Assad regarding bilateral relations, regional issues and the Syrian crisis.

In this meeting, Bashar Assad spoke about the measures taken in the field of the safe return of Syrian refugees and considered it a priority of Damascus.

Syrian President emphasized: Syria has taken an important step in the measures to help Syrian refugees return.

The foreign minister of Jordan also stated: Jordan will use its efforts in the case of the return of Syrian refugees.

He emphasized his country’s full support for the stability and well-being of Syria and considered it in the interest of the entire region.
