Putin: The current situation in the Middle East is difficult and complicated
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Reuters news agency, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, visited Moscow and met and talked with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
At a private dinner, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the war in Ukraine and the current situation in the Middle East.
Putin said in this meeting: relations between Moscow and Abu Dhabi have increased to a strategic level. We thank the UAE for its mediator role in the exchange of prisoners with Ukraine.
He further referred to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and considered the current situation in the region difficult and complicated.
It should be said that after the start of the war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022 and the imposition of a wide range of Western sanctions against Russia, the Moscow authorities are looking for new partners. Due to the conditions of the free economic market, the United Arab Emirates has given an opportunity to the Russian economy to circumvent the sanctions.
