According to media reports, 67-year-old Luong Quong was elected as the new president of the country with the approval of 440 representatives present at the meeting of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
In this way, more than 91 percent of all the representatives of the National Assembly of Vietnam supported the formation of the new government of this country headed by Luong Quong.
According to the Constitution of Vietnam, the National Assembly of this country is the highest authority that has the power to appoint and dismiss the president of this country.
Lung Quong was born in August 1957 in Phu Tu province in northern Vietnam. He entered the Vietnam People’s Army in 1975.
