Britain lends Ukraine money from Russia in London
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Reuters, “John Healey, British Defense Minister announced that London will pay 2.26 billion pounds ($2.94 billion) to Ukraine as part of a much larger G7 loan.
According to the British Defense Minister, this loan is part of Russia’s blocked assets in is abroad and “only” to be spent on the purchase of military weapons and the Ukrainian army.
John Haley further added that the use of G7 funds in the talks between Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine and Kair Starmer, the British Prime Minister is discussed.
