Hurricane “Oscar” entered Cuba on Sunday, and after causing strong winds and heavy rain, it gradually moderated yesterday and gave way to a tropical storm.

The arrival of the storm in this country while the nationwide power outage, which continues for the fourth day, led to scattered protests in different areas of Cuba.

Some protesters came to the streets pointing to the water cut and the lack of access to drinking water, while others protested from the balconies of the houses.

The nationwide and long power outage is part of Cuba’s problems in the energy field, which in July 2021 led to the country’s biggest protests in the last 30 years.
