According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Subrahmanyam Jaishankar”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India announced the separation of the forces of this country and China in the disputed areas.

India’s foreign minister announced on Tuesday that India and China have completed the process of separating the forces of the two countries in the disputed border region of Ladakh.

China and India disagree over thousands of square kilometers of their shared border. These differences have caused constant border conflicts and tension in India-China relations.

Indo-China tension in Ladakh escalated in May 2020. In an effort to reduce tensions, the two countries started negotiations on the separation of forces in early June 2020, and the first phase of the separation of forces between the two countries was completed in February 2021. Since 2020, 16 rounds of talks have been held between India and China.
