Despite the desire to join BRICS, Türkiye remains a NATO ally

The Secretary General of NATO said in this regard: Turkey will remain a valuable ally of NATO despite its desire to join BRICS.
Mark Rutte, in connection with Turkey’s participation in the organization’s summit in Kazan, said: This issue will not affect the importance of Turkey as a NATO ally, and Ankara remains a key partner of the alliance.
At this time, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president and chairman of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey, emphasized a few hours ago at the meeting of provincial officials of his respective party in Ankara: We want to expand cooperation with BRICS. Türkiye wants to expand its relations with BRICS and hopes that the Kazan Summit will be fruitful in this direction.
