According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen reacted to the election of Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
He claimed: Whoever is at the head of Hezbollah is a target for assassination.
Hezbollah Lebanon command issued a statement about Sheikh Naim Qassem, the general secretary of Hezbollah Lebanon. In this statement, it is stated: With faith in God Almighty and commitment and commitment to authentic Mohammedan Islam and adhering to the goals and principles of Hezbollah in Lebanon and acting in the direction of the mechanism for electing a new Secretary General, the Hezbollah Council appointed Ayatollah Sheikh Naim Qasim as Secretary.
