Kremlin: The detention of Russian journalists at the American airport is unacceptable

He said in this regard: these journalists after completing all the formalities and procedures of obtaining all the entry permits, such action and attitude towards journalists and reporters is in conflict with the principles of media freedom. and of course this move is unacceptable for us.

Previously, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced on Wednesday that Moscow will not ignore the detention of Russian journalists at the American airport.

Zakharova said that American authorities did not inform the Russian Embassy in Washington about the detention of Russian journalists who came to cover the US presidential election.
