A 5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Kuril Islands
Russian sources reported the occurrence of a 5-magnitude earthquake in the South Kuril Islands.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Russia Allium, Russian sources in Sakhalin reported the occurrence of a 5-magnitude earthquake in the Kuril Islands.
These sources stated that an earthquake with a magnitude of five on the Richter scale was registered in the South Kuril Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
The mentioned earthquake occurred 159 km from Malokurilskoye village on Shkotan Island at a depth of 89 km.
There has been no report of tsunami or news about damages and casualties caused by this earthquake.
