The vice president of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party emphasized that the country will continue to strengthen its nuclear capabilities.

reported by Mehr News Agency, according to KBC, Kim Yo-jong, vice president of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party and sister of the country’s leader Kim Jong-un, in response to international criticism of Pyongyang’s intercontinental ballistic missile test, emphasized that Korea North will continue to strengthen the nuclear capability of this country.

Kim Yo Jong announced in a statement published by the North Korean Central News Agency that there will be no change in the process of strengthening Pyongyang’s nuclear forces.

On Thursday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned Pyongyang’s recent action and test of the Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile, claiming that North Korea violated Security Council resolutions.

The sister of the North Korean leader described the remarks of the UN Secretary General as “unfair and biased” and raised the question that when the enemies of Pyongyang form a military alliance equipped with nuclear weapons, the security of North Korea endanger, does the UN Secretary General believe that Pyongyang’s restraint will lead to peace on the Korean Peninsula?!

He also emphasized that sanctions, pressure or threats against North Korea have not only weakened this country but also made it stronger.

In a separate statement, the North Korean Foreign Ministry, referring to the Security Council meeting scheduled to be held on Monday regarding Pyongyang’s recent missile test, “encourages enemy forces to create critical conditions against the security of North Korea.” through the adoption of dual policies” he accused.
