India and Afghanistan discussed ways to expand bilateral relations

The special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India in Kabul met with the officials of the interim government of Afghanistan.

reported by Mehr News Agency, JP Singh, the special representative of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan, met with Mullah Muhammad Yaqoob, the Acting Minister of Defense in the interim government of Afghanistan in Kabul.

According to Hindustan Times, the parties discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in this meeting.

Singh also met with Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan and consulted with him about regional developments.

According to Anatolia news agency, the Indian government did not issue a statement about these meetings.

The Ministry of Defense of the Interim Government of Afghanistan also announced in a message on X Media about the meeting between Yaqoub and Singh: the parties emphasized their desire to expand cooperation and bilateral relations during this meeting.
