100% alignment of interests of Tehran and Yerevan
Mehr News Agency, Bin Group International: Armenia’s ambitious goals to be at the heart of the economic paths of the region and the continuous introduction of the initiative of the government of the Republic of Armenia known as the “Crossroads of Peace Plan”, in line with the realization of these ambitious goals, are very important. is Iran, for its part, while continuously welcoming the “Crossroads of Peace” plan of the Armenian government, always emphasizes that this plan is not only important for Armenia, but also for Iran itself.
It is no secret that some routes and economic corridors in the region are closely related to Iran, and in this regard, the north-south corridor is of great importance for Armenia and Iran. . Therefore, Yerevan and Tehran should make continuous joint efforts to improve and develop this corridor, because this corridor is the safest route for Armenia to access the open waters of the Persian Gulf.
When we evaluate the current situation in the region, we realize that the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will not be signed soon, and the reason for the formation of such an opinion is that we clearly see that Turkey and What are Azerbaijan’s reactions to the initiatives of the Republic of Armenia? Therefore, we should pay more attention to the option of a good economic road that we have through the routes of Iran, Armenia and Georgia.
Iran can connect to both countries (Armenia and Georgia) through the Republic of Armenia. This plan is important for all three countries, because all three countries that will be connected with the implementation of this plan, always support each other for the implementation of this plan. By implementing this plan, Iran can connect with both the Eurasian region and Central Asia. Unfortunately, some people in Iran do not properly understand the importance of this relationship.
Armenia wants to diversify its energy market in order to avoid complete energy dependence on Russia, and this is a very logical and natural thing, because every country always aims to diversify its energy sources. It takes different steps and Armenia’s actions are very logical in this direction.
Iran can export many goods to Armenia, and Armenia in turn can export its various goods to Iran and to other countries through Iran. Iran and Armenia are two countries that have 100% aligned interests, and among the countries of the world, it is very difficult to find another case whose interests and interests coincide in this way and to such an extent. For example, when we talk about the corridors, some of your neighboring countries want to pass through the territory of Armenia, but they do not want to respect the territorial integrity of Armenia.
They want to use extra-territorial corridors that pass through the territory of Armenia, and the control and supervision of these corridors are in their hands, and this is nothing but a violation of the national sovereignty of the host country. Meanwhile, Iran is the only friendly and neighboring country in the region that says that this violation of principles is not possible and unacceptable for us.
Since communication with Armenia is of vital importance for Iran, Iran has repeatedly declared that it is ready to fight and defend the principles of mutual respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries in the region. It is also very important that Türkiye is trying to create a Turkish world with the help of some countries, and the only obstacle to realizing these goals is Armenia.
We clearly see how some neighboring countries want to create instability and somehow change the stability of Armenia. They want to destroy the rich civilization and culture of Armenia. Iran, which is an old country with a rich civilization and culture, unlike other neighboring countries, always works hard to preserve and maintain the rich Armenian cultural, architectural and religious heritage, including churches and other cultural buildings. Iran supports the territorial integrity of Armenia and is extremely concerned about the so-called corridor that some countries are seeking to establish in Armenia; Of course, without wanting to respect the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Armenia.
