Local sources have reported a fire on a ship belonging to the Japanese armed forces.

reported by Mehr News Agency, according to NHK, a fire broke out in a minesweeper belonging to the Japanese armed forces, resulting in the injury of one of the crew members.

The Japanese Navy announced that the minesweeper “Okushima” was docked off the coast of Fukuoka at the time of the fire. According to the Japanese Navy, the exact location and cause of the accident have not yet been determined.

Images published by NHK show that black smoke rose into the sky from the center of the ship. According to this media, the fire started in the engine room and one of the crew was caught in it.
