15 soldiers were killed in the operation of the Chadian army against the Boko Haram rebels

The spokesman of the army of "Chad" announced that at least 15 soldiers of this country were killed during the conflict with "Boko Haram" rebels.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted Reuters, according to the statement of the spokesman of the Chadian army, during the conflict between the forces of this country and the Boko Haram rebels, at least 15 soldiers were killed and 32 others were injured.

The spokesman of the Chadian army did not provide explanations about the location of the operation or other details related to this incident. He also announced on the country’s national television that 96 members of Boko Haram were killed and 11 of them were wounded.

He also announced that the situation is under control and the operation continues to track down other elements of this terrorist group.

This area has been repeatedly attacked by Boko Haram rebels and ISIS terrorist group. The Boko Haram terrorist group was formed in northeastern Nigeria in 2009 and then spread to western Chad.

At the end of last month, about 40 soldiers were killed in an attack by a terrorist group on a military barracks in the Lak region of Chad. At that time, the interim president of Chad, Mohamed Idris Deby, threatened that the country located in Central Africa will withdraw from the coalition of multinational security forces.
