The price of gold futures on the COMEX New York market increased by 0.39% to $2,616 and 50 cents.

Among other precious metals, the price of silver increased by 0.88% to 31 dollars and 3 cents, and platinum was traded with an increase of 0.67% to 955 dollars and 11 cents.
