Russia’s warning to the Zionist regime about the attack on the “Hamimim” base

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera, the special envoy of the Russian President on Syrian affairs warned that Israeli attacks near the Russian base in Syria are not acceptable.

According to this report, “Alexander Lavrentiev” said in a speech: Israel launched an attack near Hmeimim base last month, but it did not hit the headquarters of the Russian forces, we sent a message to Israel about this. We said that attacks near our bases in Syria are unacceptable.

He emphasized: Russia’s Hmeimim airbase in Syria is not used to supply and equip Hezbollah weapons.

This Russian official also clarified: Israel’s desire to receive guarantees regarding the cessation of the alleged shipment of weapons to Lebanon through Syria is not part of the missions of the Russian forces.

Alexander Lavrentiev said in another part of his speech: Russia supports Erdogan’s plan to discuss the withdrawal of American forces from Syria at the same time as Donald Trump comes to power.
