Aliyev: France is responsible for radiation water pollution in island countries
reported Mehr News Agency quoted by Anatolia News Agency, Azerbaijan President Elham Aliyev during his speech at the Summit of Small Island Developing States held in the framework of the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in held in Baku, announced that France had caused significant damage to the environment in island countries.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan said in this regard: France is responsible for the severe pollution of water and soil and radiation there.
Aliyev stated that climate change affects the Republic of Azerbaijan and all countries and said: We see that the Caspian Sea is getting smaller every year. The water level of our rivers and the amount of snow on our mountains are decreasing. Floods and heavy rains that we have not seen before have now become today’s reality.
Alif emphasized that significant damage has been caused to the environment due to France’s nuclear tests, and said: “France is responsible for the serious contamination of soil and water and radiation there.”
He criticized the policies of the European Commission or the European Parliament and said: “If Joseph Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, turns Europe into a garden and the rest of the world into a forest.” Like, what else can you expect?
