Kremlin: America does not want India to be in contact with Russia

report Mehr News Agency quoted Sputnik, the spokesman of the Russian presidency says that America is putting pressure on India because of its relations with Russia.

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian presidency, announced on Tuesday that Russia is confident that India will resist Western pressure.

Pskov further added that there are new opportunities for cooperation between India and Russia and to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Pskov added: We know and understand very well that India is under unprecedented pressure from America, but I have no doubt that it will get rid of them.

The senior Russian official emphasized that America is trying to dictate its policies to Indian banks.
