The first meeting of the BRICS Convention on Traditional Values was held in Moscow
The first meeting of the BRICS Traditional Values Assembly was held in Moscow with the presence of cultural and social figures from different countries.
According to Mehr News Agency, in this meeting, parliamentarians, cultural and social figures from Brazil, Egypt, India , China, Russia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Pakistan, Uganda and other countries emphasized the need to protect and preserve traditional spiritual and moral values.
The participants of this meeting established the “Permanent Meeting of BRICS Literature”. The activities of this meeting will be focused on strengthening cultural relations, studying and promoting literature, and introducing the works of contemporary authors of BRICS member countries. The purpose of this permanent meeting is to create a unified cultural and literary atmosphere among the countries of this group.
Tamara Skok, director of the Department of Innovative Linguistic Projects at BRICS TV and responsible for the international project “Modern Russian”, announced: “This meeting will create a foundation for more active translation of literary works.” has done We are talking not only about fiction, but also about professional-technical literature and other types of literature.”

In the field of business activities, the participants suggested to create a business platform for cooperation based on traditional ethical values.
“We understand our diversity: we have different cultures, religions and identities,” said Zelalem Malak Bogale, a member of the Ethiopian parliament. “But now we have come together because we have common traditional values that we need to develop and unite.”
The Traditional Values Forum BRICS will be held from November 17 to 20.
This event includes round tables and meetings about family values, the role of education in cultivating these values, international diplomacy and promoting spiritual and moral values through the media.
