The Research Center of the Ministry of Emergency Services and Crisis Management has announced that these shelters known as “KUB-M” are able to withstand nuclear radiation and accidents including natural disasters and other hazards for up to 48 hours. Human, resist.

Among the cases of resistance of these shelters explained by this center, we can mention “explosion and shrapnel caused by firing conventional weapons, objects falling from buildings, dangerous chemicals and fire”. .

These shelters resemble reinforced containers and consist of two parts; A room with a capacity of 54 people and a technical room, and according to this center, other parts can be added to it if needed. These shelters can be easily moved by truck and can be connected to the water source.

Although this center did not establish a connection between the mass production of these shelters and the current crisis, this action of Russia took place a few days after the lifting of missile restrictions on Ukraine by the United States. In response to this American decision, the Kremlin has described it as an action leading to the escalation of tensions.
