According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by the Guardian, Haiti summoned the French ambassador to its foreign ministry.
This action took place after French President Emmanuel Macron called Haitian leaders idiots.
The Haitian government announced that it summoned the French ambassador to the country to protest the unfriendly and inappropriate remarks of Emmanuel Macron. The statements were recorded through closed-circuit cameras.
On Wednesday, the French president described the decision of the Transitional Presidential Council of Haiti to oust the country’s prime minister earlier this month as completely stupid.
Macron’s statements ignited public anger in Haiti.
