He added: The purpose of such intervention in regional affairs by the US is to sanction the People’s Republic of China and create a crisis in Asia and pursue its selfish interests.

China considers the autonomous island of Taiwan as part of its territory and any support and arms supply by the United States violates the principle of “One China”.
