Canada Post workers strike
Canada Post office workers are still on strike in protest of their legal status.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Global News, the strike of Canada Post office workers has entered its second week.
Following the strike of 55,000 employees of the Canada Post Office in protest of low wages since 10 days ago, postal services have been suspended across Canada.
The postal workers union has demanded a 24 percent increase in wages over a four-year period. Meanwhile, Canada Post has proposed an increase of eleven and a half percent.
The officials of the Canadian Postal Workers Union announced that despite nearly two weeks of the strike, negotiations to resolve this problem have not made any progress.
