The Russian army captured the Kobanki region in eastern Ukraine

In the latest developments on the battlefield in Ukraine, the Russian media announced a few hours ago that the Russian army entered the strategic city of “Kurakhove” as the country’s forces continued to advance on the territory of Ukraine.
Analysts have said that the Russian armed forces have identified the weak points of the Ukrainian army in this strategic city.
The Institute for the Study of War based in Washington has written that Russian forces have recently been advancing into Ukraine at a much higher rate than in the whole of 2023.
This report also confirmed Russia’s recent territorial gains near “Vohldar” and “Velika Novosilka” in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
According to the report of Russia’s independent news group Agentstvo, the country’s army has captured about 235 kilometers in Ukraine in the past week, which is a record in 2024 in terms of weekly achievements.
This news group analyzed data from the so-called “Deep State” group affiliated with the Ukrainian military, which studies images of the battle front and provides maps of the front lines.
The Institute of War Studies and bloggers supporting the Russian military say that Russian forces are currently in “Kurakhove”. Entering this area will be the cornerstone of Moscow’s advance in the Pokrovsk logistics center in Donetsk.
According to analysts of the Institute of War Studies, the advance of Russian forces in the southeast of Ukraine is largely the result of identifying and tactically exploiting the weak points of Kiev’s front lines.
