Miqati: The Zionist enemy should fully adhere to the ceasefire

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Nashrah, Prime Minister Najib Mikati welcomed the implementation of the ceasefire in this country in a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.

He emphasized that this agreement is a fundamental step towards the realization of peace and stability in Lebanon and the return of refugees to their cities and villages.

Miqati stated in this phone call made by Biden that the ceasefire in Lebanon will help to achieve stability in the region.

He said: I appreciate the joint efforts of the United States and France and the commitment of the Lebanese government to implement Resolution 1701 and strengthen the presence of the army in the southern regions and cooperate with the Organization forces. I emphasize and ask different countries and international institutions to fulfill their duties in this regard.

Miqati added: I also ask the Zionist enemy to fully adhere to the ceasefire and withdrawal from all occupied areas.
