Lebanese Army: The transfer of soldiers to the south of the Litani River has begun

The Lebanese army emphasized that the relevant military units have started moving their soldiers to the south of the Litani River.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the Lebanese army issued a statement announcing the beginning of the transfer of Lebanese soldiers to the south of the Litani River.

The Lebanese army announced: strengthening its presence in the southern part of the Litani River and its control by Lebanon in coordination with UNIFIL forces and based on UN Resolution 1701 , we started.

This statement continues: The relevant military units are carrying out transfer operations from several areas to the southern part of Litani and will be concentrated in the designated positions for them.

Also, the Lebanese army asked the citizens of this country who have returned to their homes to protect their health, not to approach the presence of enemy forces in southern Lebanon.

A little while ago, the Minister of Defense of Lebanon, Maurice Salim, emphasized in an interview with Al Jazeera: We will increase the number of Lebanese army troops stationed in the south to 10,000. We will increase.

He added: Lebanon adheres to international resolutions. The sovereignty of our country is based on the deployment of army forces in the southern borders.

Salim added: Except for the Lebanese army and UNIFIL, no other forces will be stationed in Lebanon.

It should be noted that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime has been officially implemented since this morning.
