United Nations: Calling all parties for a cease-fire in Gaza is ongoing
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency “Farhan Haq”, the deputy spokesman of the United Nations, told the Turkish Anatolia news agency that he is in contact with all parties regarding the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.
He added that the United Nations is aware of these negotiations and communications with the United States, Turkey, Egypt and Qatar are still ongoing.
Haq said that “the United Nations supports any initiative for a ceasefire in Gaza”, recalling that the organization has been calling for a ceasefire in Gaza for a long time. .
He emphasized the need to stop conflicts in Gaza, release prisoners and increase humanitarian aid.
