The terrorist groups claimed that they reached two kilometers from Aleppo city after the clash with the Syrian army forces.

Al-Nashrah news site also reported, quoting sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition, that terrorists had taken control of Khan Tuman and Zitan in the southern suburbs of Aleppo.
The so-called “Military Operations of the Syrian Opposition” claimed that they have taken over the areas of “Khan Tuman”, “Zitan”, the villages of “Mardbase” and “Berneh” and the scientific research center around the city of Aleppo.
