The arrival of the American general in Beirut to monitor the ceasefire
The headquarters of the American army announced the arrival of an American general in Beirut to monitor the ceasefire process between Lebanon and the Zionist regime.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Central Headquarters of the US Army (CENTCOM) announced that General Jasper Jeffers, a member of the Special Operations Command, has arrived in Beirut.
According to this report, he is supposed to work as one of the leaders supervising the ceasefire mechanism between Lebanon and the Zionist regime.
CENTCOM added that Amos Hochstein, the US special envoy to Lebanon, will also oversee the mechanism temporarily until a permanent official is appointed.
This is despite the fact that the Zionist forces have violated the ceasefire several times in southern Lebanon.
