Fierce fighting in the southeast of Idlib and the northern suburbs of Hama and the opposition’s claim to control new areas
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera, Syrian army forces are fighting hard against terrorists in the southeast of Idlib and the northern suburbs of Hama. They are establishing defense lines and strengthening forces in the north of Hama.
At the same time, joint Syrian and Russian air strikes targeted terrorist positions and columns in Idlib and Aleppo, as a result of which many terrorists were killed and wounded.
Syrian sources announced that all Syria’s efforts are to contain the wave of terrorist attacks that continues.
On the other hand, sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition claimed control of new areas in Aleppo. These sources claimed that they have captured the military airport of Quyres in the city of Aleppo, the air school, organizational houses and the headquarters of the 111th regiment in the city of Aleppo.
Sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition also claimed that the city of Tadef and 14 villages in the eastern outskirts of Aleppo have been captured by them.
According to the claims of these sources, the great Umayyad mosque in Aleppo city has also been captured by them.
The aforementioned sources also claimed the capture of Kafrzita, Al-Latmanah, Murak, Al-Arbain, Tel Sekik, Marakba, Lahaya, Atshan, Tal Bezam and Al-Bowaidah in the northern suburbs of Hama.
