Russia: We are in direct contact with Damascus authorities about the situation in Syria

He said at today’s press conference in Moscow: Of course, we deal with the Damascus authorities first and are in close contact. I will not disclose the nature of these calls, but I can confirm them and we are working closely with the Syrian authorities.
