The position of the head of the coalition of the Iraqi government of law regarding the developments in Syria

The head of the Iraqi government of law coalition took a stance on the developments in Syria and demanded full support from Damascus.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Al-Mayadeen, Nouri al-Maliki, head of the Iraqi Government of Law coalition, took a position on the developments in Syria.

Al-Maliki, while condemning foreign interference and also condemning the violation of the unity and sovereignty of Syria, emphasized the ability of the security and military forces of this country to keep Iraq safe. He trusts the risks.

He added: Terrorist attacks in Syria are not sudden and surprising, but in line with the conditions the region is facing. Syria has been targeted due to its geographical location, its role in the region and its borders, and we condemn and reject the foreign intervention in this country and the attack on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria.

Al-Maliki emphasized: Some countries are seeking to overthrow Syria and divide the countries surrounding the occupation regime. We already defended Syria because it is an important country and its fall would endanger the entire region. The defense of Syria is the defense of neighboring countries and the region, so this country should be supported to stand up to this challenge.

While emphasizing the necessity of avoiding neutrality regarding the developments in Syria, he asked the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to support Syria.
