The United Nations Security Council held a meeting today regarding the review of the process of providing aid to Iraq.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted the Iraqi National News Agency, the United Nations Security Council held a meeting today regarding the situation in Iraq.

Muhammad Al-Hassan Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and Head of the United Nations Mission for Assistance He presented his report to Iraq in this meeting regarding the developments in Iraq.

He stated in this report that the Iraqi government has managed to keep itself away from the conflict process and Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of this country, has tried to put investments in many projects to build bridges, schools, and transportation networks.

Al-Hassan considered Iraq to be a country of civilizations that is able to move crises towards a more stable and bright future.

He stated that Iraq is safer and more stable today than in the past.

Mohammed al-Hassan is from Oman and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres appointed him as a representative in July 2024 He chose his special position in Iraq and the head of the UN delegation to help Iraq.
