Beqaei: Iranian diplomats left the embassy building before the unknown attackers entered

reportMehr News Agency, “Ismail Baqaei”, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with the “Tehran Times” newspaper, announced that Iranian diplomats at the Iranian embassy in Damascus this morning before the attack by unknown armed men. They had left the embassy building.

Baqaei stressed that all the Iranian employees of the Iranian embassy in Damascus are in perfect health and had left the embassy building before the attackers entered.

A few hours ago, the Saudi network Al-Arabiya published pictures related to the attack of armed elements on the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

According to Al-Arabiya, the mentioned elements attempted to break the windows and throw out the documents and destroyed the equipment inside the Iranian embassy.
