Grossi’s concern about the looting of nuclear materials in Syria after the departure of Assad
Bloomberg reported the concerns of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency about Syria's nuclear materials after the departure of "Bashar Assad" from this country.
reported Mehr News Agency, Al Jazeera, citing Bloomberg, explained the words of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, regarding the missions of this organization in Syria.
According to Bloomberg, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency said in this regard: The agency’s investigation into the possible activities of Syria’s nuclear weapons was stopped after the departure of Bashar al-Assad.
Rafael Grossi continued: With the departure of Assad, the agency’s inspectors have faced new delays and an uncertain situation. The absence of an efficient government leaves Syria’s nuclear materials vulnerable to looting in places like the Al-Hajjar Nuclear Research Center.
