reported by Mehr News Agency, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a conversation with Armenpress He emphasized: We believe that if the Republic of Azerbaijan did not intend to attack Armenia Yes, the possibility of escalation of tensions in the region is zero.
He answered a question related to the recent statements of the President of Azerbaijan, who said that 15 of the 17 articles of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been agreed upon and one of the unresolved issues related to The non-deployment of troops of third countries along the border and the other is the filing of lawsuits against each other in international courts, he emphasized: We continue to constructively discuss the peace treaty. We participate with Azerbaijan and make suggestions about two Im presented the salient article of the peace treaty to Azerbaijan. It’s been over a month now and we still haven’t received a response.
He added: We suggest the non-deployment of third country forces to cover the limited parts of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and this is logical, because if the risks in that area are intensified and not minimized , things will go in the wrong direction.
He added: After the borders are fully demarcated, there will be no need for a third force to be present at any point on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Armenia supports this logic. As for withdrawing the lawsuits filed against each other, it makes sense when the peace treaty is signed, so the idea is acceptable to us. There are two points here: one is that there must be an understandable vision for the bilateral resolution of humanitarian issues currently under discussion in international courts, and secondly, it must be made clear that after exiting conflicts in International forums regarding other issues, the parties should not raise similar issues in the agenda of bilateral relations and make them a source of lasting tensions.
