The Prime Minister of Spain once again called for the recognition of Palestine as an independent country.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by the Palestinian “Wafa” news agency, Pedro Sanchez, the Prime Minister of Spain, on Saturday once again from the countries of the world He wanted to recognize Palestine as an independent country to know.

He said these words at the meeting of the “Socialism International” conference held in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

Sanchez emphasized: Israel’s occupation must be ended and allowed the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the framework of the two-state solution.

He also emphasized the need to end the blockade and humanitarian problems of the Palestinians and called for international cooperation to deal with the crisis.

Last May, Spain officially recognized the state of Palestine and considered this action to be in line with the UN resolutions and a step towards achieving peace.

Currently, 144 UN member states have recognized Palestine as an independent country, and Palestine has embassies and representatives in 95 countries.

This action of Spain and some European countries such as Ireland and Norway has angered the Israeli authorities.
