Abbas Haj Hassan, Acting Minister of Agriculture of Lebanon, announced on Tuesday that the Lebanese government, after completing the damage assessment of the attacks of the Zionist regime with white phosphorus on agricultural lands south of The country will present new complaints against this regime through the United Nations.
This Lebanese government official emphasized that the country used the channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to file a complaint against the Zionist regime.
Haj Hassan added that after completing the analysis and assessment of damages caused by the use of white phosphorus, which has made many farms in southern Lebanon unusable, the commissions of the Ministry of Agriculture, They will file more legal cases against this regime.
The head of the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture also said that the Zionist regime uses white phosphorus bullets and cluster munitions against international conventions and norms.
According to the 1980 Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, the use of white phosphorus as an incendiary weapon is prohibited.
