Jordan: We have political contact with the new Syrian government

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan announced in a speech: the government has taken immediate measures to ensure the opening of the border between Jordan and Syria, providing aid and starting trade .

The Prime Minister of Jordan stated: We will provide full support to build organizational capabilities in the vital sectors that Syrians need.

Hassan continued: We are in political contact with the new Syrian government, and the foreign minister has also held productive and positive talks with them.

The Minister of Energy of Jordan also said: Jordan can provide part of Syria’s need for electricity. We are ready to send a technical team to ensure the readiness of the Syrian electricity network.
