Libya’s willingness to improve relations with the new rulers of Syria

We announced Syria and its new leadership. In this meeting, we wished success to the new leadership of Syria in the transitional phase.

Al-Lafi emphasized: There are positive signs of cooperation with the Syrian side, especially in the security case. We believe that Syria is an important and central country and it is our duty to communicate with its leadership.

Walid Al-Lafi said: We are looking to improve relations with the new rulers of Syria and have an official ambassador in Damascus.

Hours ago, it was announced that the Libyan delegation has entered Damascus.
