Mikati’s reaction to the plan of the Zionist regime to continue the occupation of Lebanon
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Mayadin, Najib Miqati, Prime Minister of Lebanon’s Government for the Advancement of Affairs, during the meeting with Amos Hochstein, the US envoy to this country, emphasized that there should be a ceasefire in order to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime. Miqati added: We want to stop Israel’s security aggression against the southern regions of Lebanon and the destruction of houses and infrastructure in this part of the country, along with the violation of Lebanese airspace.
He emphasized the necessity of setting a clear timetable for the withdrawal of the Zionist regime from Lebanon before the end of the 60-day deadline.
